You made it to the press check page…YAY…Happy you’re here. We love bringing clients into our shop and processes (and hearts!), and working with them to get exactly what you want. So, let’s get down to the business of making your custom printed items.
Most press checks take about an hour, but depending on how many changes are made, can even go a little longer. The more decisions regarding your order you have set in stone prior to arrival, the quicker it will go.

All press checks are located at our production facility: 1435 Busch Parkway, Buffalo Grove, IL. 60089
Why do I have to go there to get my stuff printed?
You don’t! We can print your shirt anytime after your art mockup is approved. We will print to the exact specs of that mockup, and most orders are processed this way. However, if you are interested in seeing the first print, capturing some content for your followers on Insta, unsure about how your colors will look on textiles, think maybe your design should be a different size, just want a tour, or have any other burning questions, we’re betting we can answer them for you at a press check.
What can I expect of you? Expect to meet a friendly customer service agent who knows you are coming, and is familiar with the ins and out of your order. They will escort you to the press, where we will have a print waiting for your approval. If the initial print looks good, you can ask to see it on the actual items in your order. HEADS UP!! We can make only two types of changes same day: 1/ placement adjustments OR. 2/color adjustments. Changes to artwork size, or location may add a few days to your turnaround. Expect us to tweak the print, color, or placement until we get it right.
What does Barrel Maker expect of you? Please be kind to us and respectful of our shop environment. Understand that we prepare for your arrival, and don’t blow us off! Be familiar with the order and the mockup approved, and work with us. We are on the same team.
BEWARE! If you don’t show for your press check, and haven’t contacted us BEFORE the scheduled time,we can absolutely re-schedule. However, there will be a fee of $100 associated with the service.
